Posting Summary | The CAS Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides comprehensive HR support for faculty and staff within the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). The position coordinates recruitment, hiring, onboarding, personnel transactions, leave administration, faculty personnel processes, and employee separations while serving as a primary resource for HR-related guidance. Working collaboratively with academic and administrative units, the CAS HR Coordinator ensures compliance with university policies, collective bargaining agreements, and employment regulations, maintains the integrity of HR records and systems, and delivers responsive, customer-focused service throughout the employee lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Bachelor's degree in business or related field and one to three years of experience required. Working knowledge of software applications used to support area of operations. Proficiency with spreadsheets and database applications required. Effective analytical, communication and interpersonal skills required. Attention to detail and accuracy required.
Desirable Qualifications | Demonstrated proficiency utilizing software including Microsoft Teams and Office Suite, with intermediate ability in Excel. Excellent customer service, communications and interpersonal skills required; ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with high level of accuracy. Ability to prioritize effectively. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and PeopleAdmin is desirable. Experience with human resource processing and transactions, and higher education administration desired. Human Resource experience in operations, recruiting/hiring and systems desired.
Anticipated Pay Range | $29.00-$31.00/hr
