What you'll be doing day to day

As a Retail Carts Co-worker, you will ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers by:

1. Providing friendly and efficient car loading and unloading services while keeping the loading zone clean by clearing away straps, excess carts, and cardboard.
2. Ensuring that all physical shopping tools, including carts, pencils, yellow bags, maps, and twine, are adequately stocked and maintained throughout the store during business hours.
3. Filling physical shopping tools at closing.
4. Monitoring the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, reporting any IT issues, and removing unsafe physical stands or tools.
5. Addressing customer needs, resolving issues independently, and escalating matters to a manager when needed.
6. Supporting other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, Click & Collect as needed.
7. Providing customers with a simple and efficient handout experience when supporting in FSHO.
8. Ensuring products and equipment are properly staged when supporting in Returns.
9. Creating a positive customer experience by ensuring accurate order handoff when supporting Click & Collect.
10. Contributing to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
