Job summary

ShopRite of Hazlet, NJ is seeking a CSA/Carts Clerk to provide a warm, efficient customer experience and keep carts available for shoppers. You will collect carts from parking areas, assist customers with groceries, and maintain a clean front-end area.

The role requires standing for shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working with others in a fast-paced environment. 18+ and strong reliability are expected.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and understand English clearly.
• Stand/walk for full shifts.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Collect and return carts from the parking lot.
• Handle damaged or return-to-stock items per policy with focus on perishables.
• Follow QA and safety procedures and dress code.
• Promote current charitable promotions to customers.
• Check prices and know product locations.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance; work overtime as needed.
