Job summary

ShopRite of Greater Morristown in Cedar Knolls, NJ is seeking a CSA/Carts Clerk to deliver a great customer experience. You will collect and return carts, assist customers with groceries, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and working cooperatively with team members. Training and job safety priorities guide daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English and understand/summarize information.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Tolerance for dust and cleaning agents in housekeeping duties.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and follow schedules.
• Adherence to attendance policies and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Collect and return carts from the parking lot.
• Handle damaged items per policy, prioritizing perishables.
• Perform duties in compliance with safety and QA standards.
