This position is responsible for the hiring, training, and coaching of team members in the Food & Beverage department. This position oversees the daily operation of the Food & Beverage department by coordinating department personnel, supervising food safety and quality standards, developing and implementing department operating procedures, and maintaining facilities and equipment. This position reports to the director of the hotel.

Cartoon Network Hotel Food & Beverage Lead Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create a fun, safe, inclusive, and productive team environment!
• Coordinate hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching activities for the Food & Beverage team to Cartoon Network and Palace Entertainment standards.
• Ensure that food outlets (Bearista Café, Cartoon Kitchen, Land of Pool, team member dining, and catering events) are run efficiently and service standards are implemented and maintained.
• Oversee food safety programs and training.
• Ensure that food service equipment and facilities remain in good working order.
• Maintain proper cleaning and sanitation of food units in accordance with the health code and other regulatory guidelines.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints related to food quality or service.
• Coordinate regular food and beverage deliveries from various vendors and complete monthly inventories.
• Carry out administrative functions related to payroll, inventory, training, scheduling, purchasing, budgeting, menu planning, and projects.
• Perform food preparation or service tasks as required.
• Develop menus and cost cards for all locations following company guidelines.
• Maintain safe working conditions for all team members.
• Adhere to all Cartoon Network Hotel and Palace policies and procedures.
• Available days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to obtain ServSafe Certification, if not already possessed, within 30 days.
