Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a warehouse associate to move products between facilities and assist in daily warehouse tasks in New Jersey. The role may involve local deliveries, loading/unloading trucks, and moving products throughout the facility.

The position operates on a Day Shift with a 12-hour rotating schedule (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) and requires 3+ years in warehouse operations, a CDL Class B license upon hire (Class A preferred), and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 3+ years in warehouse operations.
• CDL Class B license required upon hire; Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs and security procedures while loading, unloading and driving the truck.
• Unloads and loads trucks including pallets and boxes.
• Follows city, county, state and federal guidelines for inter-commerce transportation.
• Performs daily trip and post trip inspections per DOT requirements.
• Maintains truck (third party and internal) and reports issues immediately to Supervisor.
• Delivers product to customers with impeccable service.
• Performs general routine and preventative maintenance duties.
• Assists with other duties in the warehouse.

Day Shift - 12-hour rotating schedule (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) (Every other weekend required)

Essential Functions

• Follows all Standard Operating Procedures and security procedures while loading, unloading and driving the truck.
• Unloads and loads trucks including but not limited to pallets and boxes.
• Follows all city, county, state and federal guidelines and laws for inter-commerce transportation.
• Performs daily trip and post trip inspections, conforming to DOT requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining truck maintenance (third party and internal), cleanliness of the truck and is required to immediately report to the Supervisor, through verbal and written means, any issues or malfunctions concerning the truck.
• Provides impeccable service while delivering product to the customer.
• Responsible for general routine and preventative maintenance duties

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate understanding the terminology of the job. - Beginner

Specialized Knowledge: Licenses

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $23.50 to $27.50 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months.
