Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking entry-level team members to assist with a variety of retail tasks in our store. As a Courtesy Team Member, you will interact with customers and provide above-and-beyond service while supporting daily operations.

You will help with cart retrieval, trash collection, snow removal, returns, and cleaning, collaborating with service desks and multiple departments to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
