Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is looking for entry-level team members to support daily retail operations and customer service in our store. You will gain exposure to various tasks across departments and learn what above-and-beyond service means in a friendly, family-driven environment.

You’ll interact with customers, help with carts and cleaning, and collaborate with service desks and other store areas to keep the store running smoothly. This role emphasizes organization, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
