Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level team members in Grand Rapids, MI. You will gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks supporting the store, product and customer service, delivering the Meijer experience of going above and beyond for customers.

Your role involves assisting with cart handling, cleanliness, trash collection, and collaboration with multiple store departments in a fast-paced environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• Note: duties may expand beyond listed responsibilities.
