Job summary

Meijer is seeking a cart attendant to support store operations in Michigan. You will be responsible for returning carts, maintaining cleanliness in parking areas, and assisting with trash removal and basic store upkeep. The role involves safety-focused handling and teamwork across store departments.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash in the parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal when needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning tasks.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lots.
• Collaborate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
