Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a cart attendant to support store operations across Michigan locations. Responsibilities include returning carts, maintaining parking areas, handling trash, and assisting with store cleanliness and safety.

You will coordinate with multiple departments and support the service desk and checkout areas. Ideal candidates are highly organized, have strong listening and communication skills, and can perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entry, lanes and parking areas.
• Work with departments across the store.
