Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Cart Attendant to support store operations across our Michigan location.

You will ferry shopping carts from the lot to the store, assist with parking lot, lawn, and inside trash, operate snow removal equipment when needed, and help maintain clean perishable and non-perishable areas. This role engages with service desks and various departments, delivering above-and-beyond customer service, and offers benefits like Meijer Rewards, weekly pay, scheduling

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and interior trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snowfall.
• Support with perishables and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist service desk, entrances, check lanes, and parking areas.
• Collaborate with departments across the store.
