Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Team Member to support daily store operations and guest experience in Michigan.

As a Cart Attendant, you’ll help move carts, maintain parking lot cleanliness, support the service desk and checkout areas, and assist with department tasks to keep the store running smoothly. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, demonstrate strong communication, and be highly organized.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and bend in a retail environment.
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to perform a variety of store tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Move shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Assist with parking lot, lawn, and store trash collection.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment as needed.
• Handle perishables returns and salvage items.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Support service desk, entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Coordinate with departments (Health & Beauty, Hardlines, Fashion, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, Floral).
