Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to various retail tasks including customer service, store upkeep, and service desk collaboration. You will interact with customers and learn the essentials of daily store operations in a friendly, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent listening and communication abilities.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or using equipment.

Responsibilities

Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
Coordinate and collect trash in the parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
Safely use snow removal equipment when needed to clear snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning tasks.
Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
Collaborate with departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
