Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to support daily store operations, assist customers, and help maintain clean, organized spaces across departments. You will ferry carts, assist with trash removal, and collaborate with service desks and checkout areas to ensure a positive shopping experience.

This role offers exposure to a variety of retail tasks, from stocking to safety and stocking of perishable items, with opportunities for development within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
