Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, from product handling to customer service. You will support daily store operations, help guests and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Assist with basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.
