Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, including store services, product handling, and customer interactions. You will contribute to a friendly shopping experience and learn operations across departments.

As a valued member of the Courtesy Team, you will interact with customers, perform essential store duties, and participate in the service desk, check lanes, and parking areas while maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent listening and verbal communication.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist.
• Thrives in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
