Job summary

Meijer is looking for an entry-level team member to support a variety of retail tasks, customer service, and store operations. You will gain exposure to store services, product handling, and interactions with customers in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with different departments and service areas, developing skills in cart handling, cleaning, trash collection, and general store support. This role offers room for growth within a community-focused retailer.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments across store.
