Job summary

ShopRite of Bayonne is seeking a CSA/Carts Clerk to deliver a friendly, efficient service at the front end. You will greet customers, collect and return shopping carts, and assist shoppers as needed.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced retail environment. The position offers vision, dental, life insurance and a 401(k) plan with opportunities to learn merchandising and store operations.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English.
• Able to stand/walk for full shift.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Collect empty carts and return them to proper location.
• Remove debris from carts and keep area clean.
• Assist customers with groceries as needed.
• Operate carts and related front-end equipment per policy.
• Follow safety, cleaning, and stocking guidelines.
