Job summary

The Club at Eaglebrooke in Lakeland, Florida is seeking a Part-time Cart Attendant to support outside operations and guest services. This role focuses on cart preparation, bag handling, club cleaning, range support, and assisting with tournaments and outings.

You will help maintain cart storage areas, assist with course policy awareness, and provide courteous service to players throughout the day in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience or training.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
• Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintain the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Maintain the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
• Prepare golf carts for play following the standards of Troon.
• Assist in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth.
• Assist players by changing their golf spikes if needed.
• Perform range maintenance such as presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintaining ball inventory over the course of the day.
• Direct start of play when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Service customers who are renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.
• Assist with food and beverage activities
• Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
• Perform other duties as required
