FLS Transportation Service is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to join our rapidly growing organization in Chicago. You will negotiate with carriers, optimize profitability, and help our teams deliver outstanding service for North America’s leading brands.

Ideal candidates have freight brokerage/3PL experience, proficiency with Salesforce, and strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Negotiating with carriers to maximize profitability and efficiency.
Use software tools to find equipment/freight and calculate rates; schedule shipments and resolve issues during transit.
Maintain carrier database with pricing and contact information.
Audit/correct carrier freight invoices and BOLs as necessary for payment.
Dispatch drivers/carriers on routes.
Record arrival and departure times accurately.
