Uber Freight is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative in Rogers, AR to generate and maintain carrier relationships in a fast-paced sales environment. You will establish relationships, negotiate terms, and manage carrier profiles while ensuring on-time deliveries with safe carriers.

You will be eligible for a monthly bonus in your first full calendar month, with opportunities for career growth and equity awards for US employees.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of professional experience in a sales/cold-call setting or related experience.
• Experience booking hazmat, tanker endorsed, and flatbed freight.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop specialized and dedicated carriers
• Engage and build relationships with carriers across dry van, reefer, hazmat, tanker endorsed, and flatbed freight specific to Uber Freight specialized services.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
• Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals
• Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets
• Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels
• Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2+ years of professional experience in a sales/cold call setting or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Track and trace experience
• Experienced booking carriers for Hazmat, Tanker Endorsed, and flatbed freight
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
