Uber Freight in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Account Manager II who will be the first point of contact for customers and ensure freight is serviced to meet or exceed standards. The role focuses on developing customer relationships and communicating customer needs to operations.

You will be accountable for carrier relationships, shipment status, and rate maintenance while working in office five days a week.

• Secure Capacity for Load.
• Contact carrier to obtain status of load tendered; update system and notify shipper/Receiver.
• Set-up New Locations (Shippers/Receivers) and/or Set-up new vendors.
• Upload vendor profile sheet, assign vendor code, and contact vendor for shipping dates/operations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, shippers and receivers through timely communications.
• Correspond with customer and carrier regarding detention information.
• Issue ComChecks within guidelines.
• Maintain current customer rates in the TMS and update Fuel Surcharge by Customer.
• Manage accounts receivables within guidelines.

About the Role

This position will work in office 5 days per week. The Account Manager II is an individual contributor role that is responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience, serving as the first line of contact for our customers. They are responsible for ensuring all freight is serviced to meet/exceed the customer’s standards, while also communicating customer needs and changes to the operations teams. They are expected to develop and maintain customer relationships, while achieving company defined operational metrics.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Secure Capacity for Load
• Contact carrier to obtain status of load tendered; continue monitoring the shipment status and updating in the system, then notifying the shipper and/or Receiver and rescheduling when necessary
• Set-up New Locations (Shippers/Receivers); and/or Set-up new vendors
• Upload vendor profile sheet, assign vendor code, contact vendor to determine shipping dates, hours or operations, etc.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers, shippers and receivers through professional and timely communications and inquiry responses
• Correspond with customer and carrier regarding detention information
• Issue ComChecks within established guidelines
• Maintain current customer rates in the Transportation Management System
• Maintain up-to-date Fuel Surcharge by Customer
• Manage accounts receivables within specified guidelines

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience
• Must be open to working 5 days in office

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Suite
