Uber Freight in Chicago is seeking a Strategic Carrier Procurement Representative to optimize Buy-to-Market spread through negotiation, contracts, and carrier partnerships.
You will drive cost savings, protect margins, and enable our sales team by providing capacity guarantees and lane pricing while partnering with product teams.
A bachelor's degree and 3–5+ years in carrier management or related roles help you leverage TMS tools and freight market knowledge to win new business.
As a Strategic Carrier Procurement Representative, your core focus is driving cost savings and protecting margins by optimizing our Buy-to-Market (BtM) spread through strategic negotiation and contract management. It will be achieved by cultivating strong, trust-based carrier partnerships that secure reliable, high-quality capacity.
By serving as the bridge between our transportation partners, sales teams, and product groups, championing a "carrier-first" philosophy, you ensure we remain our carriers' partner of choice while enabling our sales team to win new business and improve service.

Illinois: The target base salary for this role is between $72,000- $85,000
