Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Sales, Transportation, Finance, or Hospitality preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI at an intermediate level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage carrier relationships to negotiate rates and secure load coverage.
• Grow and manage a network of carriers via lead generation, cold calling, and referrals.
• Develop and maintain quality relationships with carriers, drivers, and stakeholders through proactive communication.
• Work with carrier base to drive the use of U.S. Xpress digital and automated systems.
• Trailer management—balance trailer networks by leveraging carrier relationships and data accuracy.
• Monitor carrier performance to maintain high-level service.
• Sourcing new business opportunities and providing market feedback to procurement.
