Job summary

Quadient is seeking a Carrier Partnerships Manager to build and manage a strategic carrier network, drive Open Locker Network adoption, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize delivery solutions. You will recruit carriers, negotiate contracts, and forecast volume while expanding market reach.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with carriers, 3PLs, and delivery platforms, plus overseeing onboarding, pilots, and market launches to scale locker deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to recruit regional, national, and international parcel carriers into the Open Locker Network.
  • Build executive-level relationships with carriers, 3PLs, logistics providers, couriers, and emerging delivery platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to expand carrier adoption and increase package volume across existing network locations.
  • Lead commercial discussions, partnership negotiations, and contract development with transportation partners.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective carrier partners and provide accurate forecasting of network volume opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, site acquisition, operations, and product teams to align carrier requirements with network expansion plans.
  • Identify market opportunities where carrier demand can accelerate locker deployment.
  • Analyze carrier delivery patterns to determine optimal locations for network growth.
  • Develop business cases demonstrating the economic benefits of out-of-home delivery solutions for carriers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned carrier partners.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key partners to monitor performance, growth opportunities, utilization, and service quality.
  • Manage carrier onboarding, implementation timelines, and expansion initiatives.
  • Ensure partner satisfaction while identifying opportunities for increased adoption and network utilization.
  • Work closely with carrier operations teams to optimize delivery workflows and locker utilization.
  • Support operational issue escalation and resolution.
  • Coordinate testing, pilot programs, and market launches with participating carriers.
  • Gather carrier feedback and communicate network enhancement opportunities to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends within parcel transportation, e-commerce logistics, last-mile delivery, BOPIS, PUDO, and locker networks.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and identify opportunities to strengthen the Open Locker Network value proposition.
  • Provide market intelligence to leadership regarding carrier strategies, volume trends, and emerging delivery models.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators including: Carrier adoption, Active carrier count, Package volume growth, Network utilization, Revenue generation, Pilot conversion rates, Customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations.

Job Description

The Carrier Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding strategic relationships with parcel carriers, logistics providers, e-commerce delivery companies, and other transportation partners that participate in the Open Locker Network. This role will serve as the primary commercial liaison between the organization and carrier partners, driving network utilization, onboarding new carriers, supporting operational integration, and identifying opportunities that increase parcel volume through the network.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in parcel transportation, last-mile delivery, carrier operations, and business development. They must possess a deep understanding of carrier networks, delivery economics, alternative delivery solutions, and the challenges facing carriers in dense urban and suburban markets.

This role plays a critical part in driving network density, increasing locker utilization, reducing failed delivery attempts, and expanding participation across the open delivery ecosystem.

Carrier Partnership Development
