Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Carrier Manager to partner with accounts and drive carrier performance, onboarding, and bid execution. You will lead route-guide management, post-bid analytics, and ongoing carrier performance optimization across networks in North America.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operations, procurement, and analytics teams, requiring strong data skills, regulatory knowledge, and vendor management experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years transportation experience
• At least 1 year managing truckload carrier performance and cost efficiency
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Carrier Performance & Relationship Management: evaluate carrier compliance, onboarding, and performance.
• Internal Analytical Support: analyze customer data and bids to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Procurement Support: end-to-end strategy and execution for procurement events and mini-bids.
