Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machine and knife, ensuring proper sewing.
• Run carpet in J-box, keeping it straight.
• Monitor J-box to ensure carpet enters accumulator correctly.
• Inspect for torn leaders or seams and resew to prevent tears.
• Inspect carpet as it rolls into the machine and report defects.
• Keep J-box and accumulator as full as possible.
• Attend job-related training as directed by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
