Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking an on-site production operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate sewing machines and related equipment, assemble carpet products, and monitor processes to ensure quality and efficiency in a fast-paced facility.

Responsabilités

• Operate sewing machine and knife to sew correctly
• Run carpet in J-box ensuring straight operation
• Monitor J-box and accumulator to keep carpet in position
• Inspect torn leaders or seams and re-sew to prevent tears
• Inspect carpet as it rolls into the machine and report defects
• Keep J-box and accumulator full at all times
• Attend job-related training as directed by supervision
• Follow established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping and other tasks as assigned

• Operate sewing machine and knife and ensuring that they are sewn in correctly.
• Run carpet in J-box making sure it is running in straight.
• Watch J-box to ensure carpet is entering accumulator in proper position.
• Watch for torn leader or seams and re-sew them to prevent tear outs.
• Inspect carpet as it rolls into the machine to alert supervisor of defects.
• Keep J-box and accumulator as full as possible at all times.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
