Mohawk Industries is seeking a Creeler Operator in the Dalton, GA area. You will ensure a steady polypropylene yarn supply to the beaming machine and support operators with daily tasks in a high-volume flooring environment.

The role requires reading, basic math, and adherence to safety training. You will join a team focused on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement while working in a non-climate-controlled facility and preparing for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reads and writes in standard English and basic math.
• Successful completion of required on-the-job training.
• Successful completion of health and environmental safety training.

Responsibilities

• Keep yarn supply near the creel to ensure efficient package changes.
• Remove skinner package and place full package on creel.
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running from all spindles in use.
• Observe the creel, stop the machine if needed and assist with breakouts.
• Assist the operator in operating the machine and doffing rolls of carpet.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures and participate in housekeeping.
