Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a global flooring leader, seeks a creel yarn operator to maintain yarn supply and meet production yardages. You will patrol the creel, keep yarn running, and respond to quality issues to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate and monitor production machinery safely.
• Attention to quality and process standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping the creel yarn supply to meet the assigned yardages.
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running
• Observe the creel, stop the machine should any quality issues such as breakouts, defective packages, small packages, etc.
• Work within a team environment.
• Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
