Job summary

Generations Carpet Cleaning Inc is seeking a Commercial Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our Tampa Bay team. You will be trained and then earn pay hourly plus commission, with expected annual earnings between $40,000 and $60,000 based on performance and workload.

Responsibilities include carpet and upholstery cleaning, stain removal, odor treatments, water extraction, equipment setup, and driving a company van.

Responsibilities

• Become IICRC certified.
• Follow an electronic schedule.
• Assess a job to determine what is needed to clean carpet, vinyl, upholstery, and/or tile.
• Set up/tear down equipment for jobs.
• Perform repairs—stain removal, dye, stretch, patch, seam repair, etc.
• Perform odor treatments.
• Extract water from floods.
• Clear dryer vent and A/C drain line.
• Log mileage and fill out service checklists.
• Respectfully communicate with properties, residents, and fellow team members.
• Share the on-call schedule for floods – rotation is every week and a half for three days, 24-hour availability.
• Lift/carry equipment (70 lbs or less). May require you to pull it upstairs to apartments on a higher floor.
• Drive company cargo van to apartment complexes throughout the Tampa Bay area.
• Maintain a clean van.
• Operate truck mount machinery.
• Mix cleaning chemicals according to Generations procedures.
• Perform simple math.
• Maintain equipment inventory list.

Position Information

Position Title: Commercial Carpet Cleaning Technician

Pay: Paid hourly during training. Once you complete training, you will be paid hourly PLUS commission.

Once trained, technicians average between $40,000 and $60,000 per year depending on how driven they are.

What You Will Do

• Maintain a clean van.
