Job summary

F.A. Wilhelm Construction is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator in Carpentry to lead budgeting, estimating, and procurement for construction projects. The role involves reviewing quotes, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and managing material procurement from award through closeout.

The ideal candidate will have experience in rough/finish carpentry, millwork, or doors, frames and hardware, plus 2–5 years in general construction. A.S./B.S.

Qualifications

• Education: A.S. or B.S. in Construction or equivalent field experience

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple estimates and proposals concurrently
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specs
• Evaluate drawings, specs, and other bid documents for all involved scope
• Conduct site visits, pre-bid meetings, and detailed scope evaluations for all trade work
• Procurement of all project materials and cost forecasting
• Review shop drawings and relay pertinent information to the field team
• Ensure safety measures and closeout documentation are completed
