An established educational institution is seeking a passionate Carpentry Instructor for Adult Education. This role involves providing both theoretical and practical instruction in carpentry, focusing on essential skills such as material selection, layout practices, and tool usage. Duties: Provide theory/classroom instruction and hands-on practice for Carpentry classes; employment entry and/or hobby classes. Curriculum development and participation in the Carpentry program's Occupational Advisory Committee.
Qualifications: Candidate will be highly motivated and have experience with carpentry. Instructor will teach introductory skills related to material selection, layout practices, basic geometry, load calculations, tool usage, and safety. Applicant must possess a desire to teach entry-level workers. Good communication skills and classroom experience a plus.

Term of Employment: Part-time, no benefits
Salary: $30 – $35 per hour
Starting Date: March 2025, 2 Evenings per week, 5:00 - 9:00 pm, Tuesday/Thursday
