MillerKnoll in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced woodworker to join our production team. You will assemble products per the production schedule, meet critical dimensions, and maintain safe, organized workstations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications: 5+ years woodworking experience.

  • Proficient with hand tools and common woodworking machinery.

  • Effective communication across levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products per Production Schedule.
  • Meet all critical dimensions and product characteristics.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work station.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
  • Maintain accurate time sheets and punctual reporting.
  • Observe all company policies and standard practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assembly of products: Product completion per Production Schedule
  • Meet all critical dimensions and product characteristics
  • Maintain work station clean, organized and safe
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required
  • Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time
  • Observe all company policies and standard practices
  • Participate on all required continuous improvement activities
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Minimum Qualifications 5+ years previous experience of woodworking.
  • Reading and understanding drawings, dimensions, views and tolerances.
  • Proficient using equipment and hand tools such: Bench saw Miter saw/Radial saw Band saw Planer/Jointer Electrical tools: Router, screw driver, sander.
  • Hand tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member

Compensation range for this role is $19.00 - $23.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors. You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
