Job summary

Holly Hunt, part of MillerKnoll, seeks an experienced Carpenter/Woodworker in Chicago, IL to read furniture drawings and create detailed cut lists. You will cut, join, assemble and finish sand frames, decorative pieces, tables, consoles and benches with a focus on accuracy of dimensions and quality.

The role requires reading drawings, 5+ years of woodworking, and proficiency with bench saws, routers, and finish tools. It is an hourly, full-time position with benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of woodworking experience.
• Reading and understanding drawings, dimensions, views and tolerances.
• Proficient with shop tools listed (bench saw, miter saw, band saw, planer/jointer, router, sander).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team.
