Job summary

West Shore Home in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Carpenter Trainee to support installation teams. You will arrive early, load materials, travel to homes, and work under SOPs to deliver quality remodels of bathrooms and related updates.

This entry-level role offers hands-on training, a 6:30 AM start, a Monday–Friday schedule, and comprehensive benefits including health, 401(k), HSA and PTO. Experience in carpentry or remodeling is helpful, but motivation and tool familiarity can qualify you.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smartphone to log into required systems

Responsibilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo existing bath/shower and install new tub or pan, wall surround, and update plumbing if needed
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse
