Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews and employee-owners. Earn a starting hourly rate of $21.00–$23.00 with experience and enjoy bonuses and an ESOP.

Under the crew foreman, you will read and build to plans, operate tools safely, climb to heights, and participate in a 10% travel schedule. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation, life insurance, and more as part of a strong, equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction or carpentry preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; Class A CDL highly desired.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work at heights up to 40 feet and in physically demanding environments.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Use tools and equipment to safely construct buildings.
• Dig and install footings, frame walls/roofs, install doors/windows and siding.
• Maintain a safe, organized, productive work environment.
