Job summary

Champion Windows & Home Exteriors is hiring a Carpenter / Measure Technician to accurately measure customer homes for installations and complete service jobs to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years in home improvement/construction, carpentry experience, and reliable driving. A company truck and tools are provided with full-time W-2 employment and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; trade school a plus.
• 3–5 years in home improvement/construction including carpentry, roofing, and window installation.
• Experience with hand tools and brake; strong measurement and angle skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Measures for products at customer homes.
• Repairs windows, siding, and sunrooms.
• Order and tracks repair/installation services.
• Assist management reporting and communication.
• Interact with homeowners to service home-improvement needs.
• Safely perform all job aspects in compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Measures for products at customer homes
• Repairs windows, siding, and sunrooms

Qualifications

• Experience in the use of a brake, and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc. required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Math skills including using a tape measure and angles
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
