Job summary

Champion Window is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician to accurately measure customers’ homes for installations and oversee service jobs to ensure satisfaction.

You will measure at client sites, assist with repairs to windows, siding and sunrooms, and coordinate repair/installation services while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, construction trade school a plus.
• 3 to 5 years in home improvement / construction involving carpentry, roofing & window installation.
• Experience in the use of a brake, and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Math skills including using a tape measure and angles.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Measures for products at customer homes.
• Repairs windows, siding, and sunrooms.
• Order and tracks repair / installation services.
• Assist Management reporting and communication, as requested.
• Interacts with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs.
• Safely performs all aspects of job in compliance with all federal, state & local laws.
