Job summary

Champion Windows & Home Exteriors is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician to accurately measure customer homes for installation and to complete service jobs, ensuring customer satisfaction. The role includes handling measurements, repairs, and coordinating installation needs on-site with a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in home improvement or construction, with experience using hand tools and a brake, and possess solid communication and math skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; construction trade school is a plus.
• 3–5 years in home improvement/construction involving carpentry, roofing and window installation.
• Experience using a brake and other hand tools such as utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc. is required.

Responsibilities

• Measure for products at customer homes.
• Repair windows, siding, and sunrooms.
• Order and track repair/installation services.
• Assist management reporting and communication, as requested.
• Interact with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs.
• Safely perform all aspects of the job in compliance with laws.

Champion Window is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician

As a Carpenter / Measure Technician, you will be responsible for accurately measuring the customer’s home for installations and being responsible for completing service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Measures for products at customer homes

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, construction trade school a plus
• 3 to 5 years in home improvement / construction involving carpentry, roofing & window installation
• Experience in the use of a brake, and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc. required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Math skills including using a tape measure and angles
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
