Job summary

Champion Window is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician to measure homes for installations and complete service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.

In this full-time role you will measure customer homes, repair windows, siding and sunrooms, and assist management with reporting and communication while ensuring safety and compliance with laws. Your carpentry and measurement skills will be applied directly on customer sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, construction trade school a plus.
• 3 to 5 years in home improvement / construction involving carpentry, roofing & window installation
• Experience in the use of a brake, and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Math skills including using a tape measure and angles
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Measures for products at customer homes
• Repairs windows, siding, and sunrooms
• Order and tracks repair / installation services
• Assist Management reporting and communication, as requested
• Interacts with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs
• Safely performs all aspects of job in compliance with all federal, state & local laws
