Overview

Champion Window is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician

As a Carpenter / Measure Technician, you will be responsible for accurately measuring the customer’s home for installations and completing service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Measuring for products at customer homes
• Repairing windows, siding, and sunrooms
• Ordering and tracking repair/installation services
• Assisting management with reporting and communication as requested
• Interacting with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs
• Safely performing all aspects of the job in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; construction trade school is a plus
• 3 to 5 years of experience in home improvement/construction involving carpentry, roofing, and window installation
• Experience using a brake and other hand tools such as utility knives, hammers, deglazing tools, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Math skills including measuring with a tape measure and calculating angles
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
