Job summary

AtWork Group is seeking a Carpenter / Maintenance Technician in Apex, NC. This hands-on role covers building, repairs, and general maintenance of furniture, fixtures, and displays, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.

You will perform carpentry duties (framing, drywall, trim), handle routine maintenance, and troubleshoot minor plumbing/electrical issues. A valid license and dependable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpentry, construction, or maintenance experience.
• Skilled with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of general building repairs and maintenance.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and refurbish furniture, fixtures, displays, and inventory items.
• Perform framing, drywall, trim, molding, and repairs.
• Handle routine facility maintenance, painting, patching, renovations.
• Troubleshoot minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Work independently and complete projects with quality workmanship.
