Job summary

Murdoch Developmental Center in Butner, NC seeks a Maintenance/Construction Technician II (Carpenter) to maintain 600,000 sq ft of facilities, oversee renovations, repairs, and adaptive builds for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of progressive carpentry experience or equivalent.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Experience in commercial/industrial maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance, renovations, and repairs.
• Install doors, locks, cabinetry, and furniture.
• Pour and finish concrete; tile replacement/installation.
• Operate hand tools and heavy equipment; ensure quality per work orders.
