Job Description - CARPENTER/LOCKSMITH (252695)

Position Overview

Uses power and hand tools to construct and assemble a variety of carpenter trade related projects. Follows drawings and verbal instructions as needed to complete projects per specification. Provides time estimates for major and minor work assignments. Maintains accurate records for the distribution and rekeying of locks.

Qualifications

1. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required). Trade School: Successful completion of technical/trade school apprenticeship program in carpentry (Preferred).
2. Experience: 4 Years experience in a hospital carpentry system or comparable role (Required). Ability to read and interpret blueprints (Required). Knowledge of applicable fire codes and DOH / JCHAO standards (Required).
3. License/Certifications: Driver's License (Required).
