Job summary

SageWater, LLC in Oahu, Hawaii is seeking a Carpenter Helper to support experienced carpenters on interior finishing projects for high-rise condo repiping and renovations. You will help keep the job site safe, organized, and learning carpentry skills.

This full-time hourly role reports to the Project Lead and offers hands-on experience, paid training, growth opportunities, and benefits such as PTO, health plans, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of carpentry experience (finish carpentry preferred); ability to lift 50-100 lbs.
• Own basic carpentry hand tools and reliable transportation.
• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Must reside in Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood and other materials
• Lift and move materials as needed by carpentry team (50-100 lbs regularly)
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
• Perform demo and removal of old materials as directed
• Take out trash and provide general site support

About THIS OPPORTUNITY:

As a Carpenter Helper , you will assist experienced carpenters on interior finishing projects for high-rise condo repiping and renovations. Your primary focus is supporting the team, keeping the job site safe and organized, and learning carpentry skills . This position offers hands-on experience, meaningful work, and long-term career growth – ideal for an early-career professional committed to learning the trade.

The Carpenter Helper role requires the demonstrated ability to work carefully, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and maintain a professional appearance. This role is intended to be a full-time hourly position, based at the job site, reports to the Project Lead, and works closely with the rest of the onsite team.

Reliable transportation to job sites

Must already reside in the state of Hawaii

Salary Range: $22 - $30 per hour based upon experience and qualifications
