Job summary

SageWater in Hawaii is hiring a Carpenter Helper to support interior finishing projects for high-rise condo repiping and renovations. You will assist experienced carpenters, help keep the site safe and organized, and learn essential carpentry skills on the job.

This full-time hourly role reports to the Project Lead and offers on-the-job training, PTO, a 401(k) plan with company match, and medical/dental/vision options. Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs and work at the Hawaii job sites.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of carpentry experience (finish carpentry preferred; rough or punch-out also considered)
• Able to lift 50–100 lbs regularly
• Own basic carpentry hand tools
• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood and other materials
• Lift and move materials as needed by carpentry team (50-100 lbs regularly)
• Help maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
• Perform demo and removal of old materials as directed
• Take out trash and perform general site support

The Carpenter Helper role requires the demonstrated ability to work carefully, communicate effectively, follow safety protocols, and maintain a professional appearance. This position is intended to be a full-time hourly position, based at the job site, reports to the Project Lead, and works closely with the rest of the onsite team.

Salary Range: $22 - $30 per hour based upon experience and qualifications
