Job summary

CIG Communities in Reynoldsburg, OH is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. You will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, plywood, and wallboard, following blueprints and building plans.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to work with hand and power tools. You will interact with customers, suppliers, and other trades, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with building codes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools.
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
