Harmony Gardens of Columbus is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. You will maintain and enhance facilities, ensuring structures are sturdy, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing, with pride in craftsmanship.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting, operating power tools, installing flooring and walls, and collaborating with the team while prioritizing safety. A minimum of 2 years in carpentry is required, plus the ability to lift heavy objects and work

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
• Strong understanding of carpentry principles, techniques, and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform various carpentry tasks, including construction, repair, and maintenance of buildings, structures, and furniture
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the required materials and equipment
• Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate cutting and fitting of materials
• Operate power tools, such as saws, drills, and sanders, to shape and finish materials
• Install, repair, and replace flooring, walls, and roofs made of various materials
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
• Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management
